As soon as Rowley finds a girlfriend Greg Heffley's left alone. A story about finding new friends and fitting in.
In my opinion this part of the series was boring and not very interesting as some of the events in the book were repetitive. It was funny at times but mostly boring.

The Diary of a Wimpy Kid books were a part of my childhood like many others. However, I didn’t read them all as a kid, so I decided to read them now as part of healing my inner child. This was enjoyable, the writing is easy to understand and is quick paced (good for children that may get bored easily). I also think the themes, such as Rowley getting a girlfriend and abandoning Greg is honestly quite realistic to a lot of people’s experiences in school. I can see why these books are popular and would recommend to others.

I’ve got to say, this is one of the funniest diary of a wimpy kid books so far. Excluding the first four of course!
