This series has quickly become one of my favorite! The balance in the books between the romance and the more intense scenes weather it’s action or character conflict was amazing. It makes you keel so many emotions and despite being wary before I started the book because of its length I wish I could reread it all over again for the first time. I hope there are eventually paperbacks and audiobooks of the series so I can experience them again in a new format.

The longest book in the Lili Kazana series encompasses a lot. From her capture by the evil Angels, to her escape from prison, reunion with her men, meeting her brother, and battling the Gods of Olympus and their armies... I'm exhausted just thinking about it. This book might have been better broken up into two. As is, the final battle was anticlimactic and over far too soon, but otherwise I thought this was a satisfying conclusion to a good series.

Safety:
Spoiler No OW. Lucifer was in a sexual relationship with Lilith and they had a son – Lili's brother. I found it really weird and gross but Lili deals with it in a healthy way (I just found it so weird that if she had a kid with Lucifer, Lili's brother would be the child's uncle and step-sibling). You find out that Iz had a fling with Lucifer a year before Lili fell (ish) ... it was just physical but also really random. There is no mm between Lucifer and Iz–they never even have a conversation. Iz, Lili and Russ do have a threesome but it is MFM.

Triggers:
Spoiler One of Lili's boyfriends, Lucifer, was in a relationship with her mother (Lilith). Lucifer hid that he had this relationship ... and the fact that the relationship resulted in a son (Lili's brother). Two of her other three boyfriends also knew of this secret and didn't tell her. Much of the relationship drama in this book revolves around them dealing with the fact they kept this from Lucifer. Lili also has to constantly see her abuser, Gabriel, in this novel.

What an ending to the series! I’ve loved every minute of this story! I felt like I was watching a movie. The details and character development is amazing. I can’t wait to read more by Leigh Kelsey.
