Very much a ‘I support women’s wrongs’ kind of vibe.

Super interesting read but also has a underlying sadness to it.

If you want a visceral experience with anxiety read this book. I could physically feel Bonnie’s stress the entire way through this book.

I saw another review saying “Luckily she got what she deserved in the end” but I think that that is an incredibly unsympathetic take! Sure Bonnie was unlikable but she was deeply traumatized and in the throws of psychosis as a response. She was mentally ill! She needed help much earlier in the story than she got it.

This book hurt to read. I debated over the rating - I raced through it. I actually had to put it down for a day because I didn't want it to end too soon.

I currently have it at 4.0 because it made me so sad but also felt so true.
