what a good ending

I love odette. She’s adorable and strong and ready to roll some heads. She’s illis perfect match. I can’t wait for them to start their family. I read Hannaford first do I know that time should be coming soon.

True Love with hearts in jars.

“I need both of my girls safe. The woman I love and the kid who might just be the closest thing to blood I'll ever have.”

Part two of “mon Monstre” and his baby girl, Odette.
What I love about this story is seeing the relationship between Illi and The Wolf. And just how strongly Illi cares about her.

Book two was purely about vengeance.
I mean, we’re talking about the damn Butcher of the Bay and his methods did not disappoint.
All for his one true love.

"We're on our honeymoon. He's giving me the hearts of the men who hurt me as our wedding gift. I'm hoping to give him a baby in return someday. Blood for blood."

These two are ride or die for life. I love them. Their chemistry and sexy moments were hot AF.

I do feel the book was a little rushed. During moments I got excited about like the torture of scumbags and when the action picked up, the chapter just stops and skips over the day or to next month. I actually had to scratch my head about that a few times. Like, WHY?!
We need details girl!!

Overall, great book. Odette found her keeper. Her savior. Her Monster. I’m looking forward to reading more into this world.
I love all these characters so damn much!

First part was amazing. Literally no notes. Loved it to pieces.
This one just felt like a filler. They could've just summarized this book into part 1. Really unnecessary

Overall a great duet but I definitely liked the first better than the 2nd book. The cliffhanger in the end of the first book gets resolved quickly which I don't love because I want the stakes even higher but that never happens lol. The rest of the book is mostly working on their "list" but there a few additional storylines that are never finished. And given that the book ends so crazy abruptly I have to assume the additional storylines are picked up in the Hannaford Prep series?

I’m sad it's over. What am I going to do without this amazing couple? They are so Iconic. People will forever fear the Butcher and Odie. If you ever wanted to love a serial killer… Butcher is the one to fall in LOVE with. He will do anything to protect the people he cares about. This Prequel was everything. I am legit devastated that it's over.
