This was a nice little treat! I had been so anxious to return to the wondrous Fever world, and reading this graphic novel was a perfect trip, just in time for the oncoming Iced. The art is amazing, really beautiful design, beyond all expectations. I mean, yeah, sure, Barrons was as I imagined he would be, the epitome of male perfection, but the true star of this novella is clearly Mac. She was drawn perfectly, just as gorgeous and vibrant as I imagined her in the books, and, as she is one of my all-time favourite heroines, seeing her come alive in full colour was beyond awesome.

The story was, to be honest, a little bizarre, or at least to me. There wasn't anything wrong with it, but it felt slightly taken out of context. It is meant to be an independent story taking place within Shadowfever, but, somehow, it doesn't fully match my very fresh memories of the atmosphere and pacing in Shadowfever. I don't know, maybe it's just me. This doesn't take anything away from its beauty, elegance and quality, but I just wanted to state this for the record. Does anyone feel remotely the same?

Anyway, I recommend this to all fans of the series, and to people who enjoy greatly drawn graphic novels. I also loved the written parts in which the author details certain aspects regarding her characters and her decision to start the "Fever" series. A nice addition to the expanding Fever world, one I will definitely re-read if only to gawk at the stunning graphic representation of my beloved Mac and Barrons.

An exciting new story from Moning's Fever universe told in graphic novel format. The story takes place after the end of Shadow Fever and features the Fear Dorcha, who is stealing faces and is after Mac. Beautifully illustrated by the late Al Rio.

I LOVED IT!

To see all my favorite book characters in vivid color! With great artistry, and with a fresh new story. We are diving into the tail end of the Fever books it would seem. Mac knows he's 'the beast', she watches him change in front of her so I am assuming this is midway through Shadowfever?

Don't know. Don't care.

This was awesome! I think I am half lusting after Mac after seeing her in Comic form. That page of her in just bra and panties on the couch sleeping... yeah, YUM! But I'm also very, very dirty!

I don't think people really understand the concept of a graphic novel. It is magic, it is our characters brought to life! I loved it! All of it! I'm gonna go sleep with this now... ;-P

Reread- April 1st, 2020.

I really loved this graphic novel, even if some of the characters were not drawn like I imagined them at all. I mean, Dani looked like a fully grown woman instead of a teenager, and Barrons looked... weird. But the dialogue was fantastic and I generally enjoyed the artwork.

I liked it because I enjoyed the series, but the characters are not how I pictured.

It was a quick fun read, though. I read it during my lunch break at work.

It’s a very fast read but obviously it’s the illustrations that make this worth picking up. It was so cool to see this worlds imagery and the plot fits right into the series.

This was a fun glimpse into KMM's imagination. There is an original story in The Fear Dorcha that fits in nicely with the series, and enough background information is given to either jog your memory or fill you in so you're up to date with what's happening. I was a little disappointed with Barron's non-beast face; he wasn't as hot as I was expecting.

Art is outstanding. Rest in peace Al Rio.

I felt this was Unfinished in many ways. The writing was less then I have come to expect from one of my faves. Also, the characters were not exactly how I imagined them.. Specifically Barrons... But that has nothing to the talent of Mr. Rio.
