This book warmed my heart and actually left me satisfied with the ending unlike so many fantasy novels that forget to tie up critical loose ends.

Really hard to get into if you had not read the other books by the author. The concept was intriguing but I might have to come back to it with more background. Not enough context to be a true stand alone.

Worst of the series. It dragged the same issue so longed that I did not finish the book.

This was a great book to the end of a series. While I still feel like I want more from this world of characters, I feel like the series ended nicely. It took me a while to get through this book, but overall, I enjoyed every minute of it.

This book was wonderful. It was great to get pulled into this world once again. With plenty of plotting and mayhem (plus some assassinations), this book kept me on the edge of my seat. The world building is great and it was fun to see how the characters continue to grow. This is a book where you get so caught up in the story, you forget it is a piece of historical fiction and that many of the larger events in the story were real. This duology and the trilogy that preceded it are among some of the best books I've read in a long time.

I got a copy of this book as an arc from NetGally. I read the first book in this series and couldnt wait to read this book. It was a great read and continues the story great. I can't wait to read the next book. I would recommend this book to everyone.
