Touched a piece of my younger self in many of the themes in this book. I haven't devoured a book like this in ages.

Surprisingly, I found the book to be rather underwhelming. Normally, I greatly enjoy Gold's books. But this? Its rather meh. It could have been the fault of the narrator, his voice is rather monotonous and each characters  sound a bit similar. This didn't grabbed my attention like his other books (like Camouflage or Winter game). Regardly I am going still check outed Isolation play.

Quite an interesting read...once I got used to the fact that they're animals, it was a very good story.

This is a "furry" story, it features anthropomorphic animals in an erotica novelle; that's the reason I decided to read it. I thought it would look really amazing on my book shelves.

Needless to say I was expecting the worse, but Gold is a good writer and the story itself is above the bar from most ebooks. Weird.

That being said, it made the furry theme less funny and more creepy.

I came to read this and didn’t expect to actually enjoy the storyline. First of all because it’s kind of outside of my comfort zone when it times to characters. Call Ivan realize that I was kind of being a hypocrite and I got past my discomfort and thoroughly enjoyed the book. I liked it so much that I bought the complete series because I want to see their journey through this difficult fight. This is really good!
