Tl;dr:
Did I enjoy reading this? Absolutely.
Would I recommend reading, if you like f/f romcom? Absolutely.
[Thank you to Atria Books for providing a copy in exchange for an honest review]
Honestly, rude of Alison Cochrun to write a book that makes me cry this many times. Impressive, though, that she wrote it so well that I kept reading, couldn't stop reading, even though I was starting to get dehydrated.
The gayest bucket-list roadtrip story, with a pair of messy MCs, who could solve so many problems if they just had an honest conversation, but let's be real, honest and frank conversations are the enemy of a good romcom story. If I had a criticism, it would be that I eventually got a little tired of one of the MCs running herself into the same psychological wall over and over again, but all's well that ends well, so I'll let it slide.
In addition to just being a really well-written and generally fantastic read, if you like me were the type of kid to hide in your library or english teacher's room during recess/lunch growing up, this will be an extra fun read. And by fun, I mean, you will cry.

This book was beautiful and wonderful and I highly recommend it. I have only one minor critique: please god enough with using queer icons names as expletives. It would have been funny 2-3 times but it was super overdone and jarred me from the otherwise gorgeously written, heartfelt story.

This book is like a prickly pear - it's beautiful, but it will hurt you.
WOW another beautifully written story by Alison Cochrun. I was first introduced to her writing with Kiss Her Once For Me, and I loooved that book! But this one..... I think I love it more 🤭
Here We Go Again is a sapphic rom-com about death. The juxtaposition works so well throughout the story. We have comedy mixed with tragedy, it is equal parts hilarious and sad. I was crying and laughing. Emotions were being felt. The whole concept of this book is amazing, and I want more Logan and Rosemary!(I also want more Joe and Remy... even though Joe passes away at the end of this story, I still want to know more about his and Remy's relationship 30 years ago.
The characters, the banter, the plot, the relationships, the antics..... I am here for it! This one is so worth the wait. If this isn't on your TBR, you have to add it. It's so good. I will be talking about this book for a loooong time!!

*turns to the last page, silently closes the book and quietly sobs* 🫠😩🥺
(hahaha jk, like I haven’t been intermittently sobbing and laughing this whole dang book)
Who would have thought that I, a road trip book hating girlie, would be completely pulled by the heart strings in a way only @alisoncochrun could by this absolutely stunning book!
