Friday nights with uncle Brian!!
Debra and a particular situation!!
We were so robbed by that series, I though I loved it but now I want to slap someone.

Not as well written as the last 4 books and a bit predictable - disappointing overall!

★★★½. With the birth of his new daughter, Dexter is actually feeling. That's a totally different Dexter than we're used to dealing with. Some might argue not as interesting, but to mitigate that,
Spoilerhis brother Brian is back in the mix
. I felt that the story took a long time to get off the ground, but once it got going, it was back to Dexter's usual devilish fun. I enjoyed the read and I will continue to read the series.

Another great Dexter book, with a new twist -- some of the characters are more evil than he -- but less likeable. But I do fear the series may have run its course. Is Dexter done?
