This collection uses nature/earth-based poetic illustrations to explore gender dysphoria, body issues, relationships, and trauma. There are pockets of this collection that I really enjoyed, with some gaps of poems that felt more matter of fact and less exploratory to the others. Either way, I enjoyed Lopez's work and would still recommend other poetry lovers giving it a try.
