4.5 stars. It's a light book written in the style of an Internet fan page. I would have appreciated a bit more depth in places. But overall, very enjoyable.

If you get past the hero-worship, this is light read that is more of a loving homage than a biography.
I am in awe of this woman who has done so much to advance the rights of women and appreciated the commentary of some of her famous opinions. So much information about Ruth Bader Ginsberg, and her years of shining light on gender inequality and civil rights was new to me, just the kind of book I enjoy.

10 stars for RBG as a person, 3 stars for this as a biography about her
Having seen the movie about her (On the Basis of Sex), I was eager to read about the late Ruth Bader Ginsburg. There was a lot of information about the cases she presided over and a bit about how she came to be, but mostly just general information. I liked the graphic nature of this book, and all the little inserts with photos and tables, but overall, I felt a little disappointed by the smattering of knowledge presented. I wouldn't exactly rely on it as a biography of her, but it was a fun little introduction for those who didn't know much.

This book would read very differently if President Obama had been able to replace Scalia, if RBG had survived the Trump term, and if Roe v. Wade had not been overturned. Highly informative, but the somewhat irreverent style is a bit off-putting given how history has played out.

Five stars for badass women. This book may be little, but just like the Notorious RBG, it packs a solid punch of knowledge and will make you want to be a better person.

I wouldn't call it a complete biography, but a lovely introduction to the live and work of RBG.
