3.5 stars. I could predict what was going on from the beginning but the story itself was interesting. I wanted to see how it would wind everything up by the end.

A delightful story for anyone who loves bookstores, riddles, and/or family saga. I was cheering for the very likable main character, Miranda, as she journeyed to discover long-hid family secrets. Amy Meyerson is a talented author and I look forward to whatever she writes next!

I enjoyed the reference to other books in the novel...but the writing was clunky and uneven. I figured out the mystery in the first few pages and I am so surprised that it took the main character Miranda so long to work it out herself. I had such high expectations for this book and felt really let down after I read it.

First time in a while I’ve strongly felt a book deserved 5 stars, but this one was hard to put down, even knowing I had to get up the next day for work.

Wow!! Could not put this book down. Perfect non school related read for my summer. It took me a few chapters to get hooked then I was all in. Sweet, mysterious, heartfelt look at love and loss. Miranda is a wonderful character. My only issues is that one character was left out. It bothered me that David was the only non-developed character. Kind of left a hole to now know more from his experience. Don’t read spoilers on this book. Just read it and be glad you did!

3.5 stars. While some of the larger plot points were a little predictable, the journey to the how and why was enjoyable. I loved the literary nods throughout the book. A fun, pretty quick read.

This book was so much fun! I was here for the bookish scavenger hunt. The author was so smart in the way she constructed the hunt and the books she referenced throughout. Was it the best book I ever read? No. It was fairly predictable. However, it was still fun!
