I forgot how much I love Kay Hooper. I am so glad I read this book to remember why.

I have found myself addicted to the Bishop Trilogy series. Hoopers most recent addition to the series did not disappoint. I was on the edge of my seat waiting to find out what happened next. I can't wait for the rest in this trilogy.

interesting read. To say the least. But i loved the character of Dani, she seemed very strong, and realistic while everything seemed to be falling down around her ears.

This was not the book for me--some really gory stuff, plus a description of a serial killer with his victims that felt a bit like torture porn. And there are so many characters in the Special Crimes Unit/Haven universe now, I can't keep track of them all.

(but mostly, it was the torture porn.)

Dani Justice's dreams are haunted by a dream that seems to suggest that she's going to have trouble, that she's going to end up in a building that's colapsing but that she needs to rescue someone. The only change that occurs are minor details.

She returns to her home city and her twin Paris, who is recovering from her divorce. She also finds herself having to face up to her relationship with Marcus Purcell. The fact that he accepts her powers scares her. Can they have a relationship and what's going to happen next with the missing women.

This was an interesting read, left me wanting more and to find out what's going on. Also seeing what is going to happen to these characters in the future makes me want the next book soon! This is the first in a trilogy and while you could read it without the other Bishop/Special Crimes Unit stories it would clear up some issues.
