Another one of those books that I enjoyed more than I anticipated. Tim's personality was both believable and enjoyable, and his situation was familiar yet unique. All-in-all, a very good story(especially because it managed to talk about baseball without annoying or confusing me).

This had potential, but I was stuck with how little of a personality that Tim had.

I really liked this book. It's interesting to see Tim become a different person during the course of the story. The way he reacts to things once he's met Helena kept me turning the pages.

I love the stuff Will Leitch contributes to the sportswriting world via Deadspin, but his YA novel is a tad on the vanilla side. Hence, I merely liked this bildungsroman.
