This book is wrong in so many ways. It isn't the writing or the love triangle that I am referring to. The characters are judgmental and awful. Ash the protagonist refers to herself as having a good side which is the "perfect" version of her and her bad side which is everything else. It was very annoying and unrealistic. The book and the activities within it were so degrading to young women that it made me want to throw the thing across the room.

There was this big deal about the football players having their own spirit girls who the guys get to choose like cuts of meat at the butcher shop. The "lucky" ladies get to dote on the players' every needs. It is disgusting. They don't go into huge details about it but the idea is gross and unnecessary. Same with the unnecessary teen sex.

I also hated how fragile the main character was that she didn't mind guys fighting her battles for her and being possessive over her. She actually thought it was attractive along with having a guy attack another teen for making a pass at her. It is brutish and I was not a fan.

I am not going to read the second one and I feel like I wasted my time on this. I am not sure why it had some many good rating. I suppose if you could see past all of the offensive behavior and content you get an annoying love triangle that some people appreciate.

I really enjoyed reading this book once i started reading it i couldn't put it down and its been a long time since a book caught my attention like that so i had to right a review. The book is about a hot summer romance between the preacher's daughter Ashton and the town's bad boy Beau, i know typical right but wait did i mention that Ashton is Beau's bestfriend and cousin Sawyer's girlfriend. And where is Sawyer when this happening you might ask? he is on a vacation with his family, and by the time Sawyer come home the damage is already down i won't tell you what happens cause i don't want to spoil it for you. If you love books about teenage romance and hot love triangles you will love this book and also it's a really sweet story about two friends finding their way back to each other. I give it four stars.

I am a huge AG fan, so I wanted to read another one her earlier series. The book was a little predictable, but I loved Beau! Ashton was a little annoying but I liked her by the end. I can't wait to read the next book in the series.

Abbi glines has a way of writing a story with characters who brings comfort and happiness straight to your soul.

The Vincent Boys is just so good! I absolutely love Beau and Ashton and their strong connection. Beau is protective and strong. He is definitely a misunderstood type of character. Ashton is such a relatable character. She is trying to find her way in life and that is exactly what she is supposed to do at her age. She is the type I would be friends with. These two together have the chemistry and the banter they need to make a great relationship. The narration was wonderful and perfect for the two characters. I absolutely love this book and will continue to reread it at least once a year!

The way I read this book this time, I listen to the extended and uncut Audio and i definitely recommend it for all!

Ashton Gray is tired of playing the perfect little princess. Tired of trying to please her religious parents and make herself worthy of the one and only Sawyer Vincent. Beau Vincent is nothing like his perfect cousin. He's sexy, dangerous, and alluring as all get out. In other words, the one guy she should stay away from. Still, she finds herself drawn to him despite everything. What's a girl to do?

Sound fairly familiar? Let's be honest, The Vincent Boys doesn't really bring anything new to the table in terms of story line. The plot is very predictable, but I pretty much knew that going in. Still, I can't deny that it was a pretty scrumptious way to pass a couple of hours. It might take a while for you to get hooked, but once you are it's difficult not to finish.

I had a love/hate relationship with Ashton most of the book. A good portion of the story is spent in Ashton's head, and it isn't always an easy place to be. Her definitions of a "good girl" versus a "bad girl" are fully fueled by her parents, and yet I feel like she was so hard on herself. I can't deny that I hated that she cheated, but the story wouldn't make sense otherwise. Plus, well, it is Beau after all.

Which leads me to Beau and Sawyer Vincent. Night and day, these two are pretty delicious each in their own way. I'm always a sucker for the bad boy. I admit it. Glines' puts these two at odds to allow for some tension, but really it is Beau that shines through it all. A bad boy with a heart of gold. If that doesn't draw you in, I really don't know what will. It definitely kept me reading.

I really felt like this book could have gone into a lot more depth at times. The relationship between Ashton and Beau went from zero to sixty in a matter of pages, and it was a little disconcerting. I felt no emotion for Ashton, even when things went badly for her. It honestly made me sad. Perhaps in the next book we'll dive deeper into the two of them. All in all though, The Vincent Boys ended up being enjoyable. I appreciated the Southern, small town charm that Abbi Glines worked into the story line, and of course I loved Beau. Give this a shot if you're looking for a sweet and quick read.

I loved this book from start to finish. As soon as I started it I was hooked and couldn't put it down. The chemistry between Ashton and Beau was undeniable and insanely sexy. But then sawyer comes home and everything turns upside down. I was hurt for sawyer because he's a great guy, but I wanted nothing to come between Ashton and Beau's relationship.
I think the ending was cut short, definitely would have liked to see more after everyone had forgiven everyone. All in all it was another fantastic read from Abbi Glines.

Beau, Ashton and Sawyer are inseparable since they were kids. Beau and Ashton were the playful ones and they considered themselves as best of friends, while Sawyer was the one who always keep them on straight line. But when Ashton became Mr. Perfect's girlfriend, Beau was hurt and decided to stay away from Ashton. When Sawyer went to a summer camp with his family, that was the time when the other two had the chance to rekindle the past. Despite staying on the sidelines, Beau's love for Ashton never wavered. It only took a short time for Ashton to realize how wrong it was to be with Sawyer. The problem is how can they be together? And, how they can keep Sawyer from hurting?

Surprise, surprise!
I usually don't like this type of story, but as I read through the pages, I believe, I was enjoying myself. Abby Glines has a unique way of writing. Despite its unoriginal plot, some part of it still blew me away.

Also, Beau and Ashton are not annoying to read, despite being backstabbers and cheaters. They handled the situation well. They're not silly and immature, and it made the story unique in some way- compare to the other books that had the same story line. What beau and Ashton had was real, and I never felt guilty for what they did nor feel sorry for Sawyer.

Well, I am glad I had the time to read this and, what can I say? I really enjoyed it. Abby Glines, you sure are entertaining!
