THIS WAS SO ADORABLE. I LOVE YOU NEIL. I loved all of the characters so dearly. Scarlet was my favorite. </needing to make someone you love forget about you is one of my favorite tropes. I call it the somebody I used to know trope. poor bod.>

This is only the second book i read that has been written only by Neil Gaiman (i also watched the sandman + I don’t really count Good Omens bc it was co-written) and I don’t know what it is but every time there is an atmosphere, an ambiance, I don’t know but that is characteristic of his writing and I love it (?) It’s perfectly the type of book I love, some lore, mysterious and in the real world. I know that I’ll reread it a lot because it made me want to write so bad, how the story was built, the book is short and yet it manages to have a background, character development and to surprise you. I’ve been wanting to reread American gods for awhile now, I hope I’ll have time soon and to read Neil Gaiman other works
