This book could easily be made into a Hallmark Channel holiday movie. It had everything one of those needs. There was a grumpy city guy returning to the small town of his childhood for business who reconnects with this high school sweetheart whose farmland his company is trying to buy out from underneath her family. They still have sparks and Elias has a lot to learn about friends, family, love, and Christmas from Isabelle. There were many emotional and heartwarming moments. There were even a few laughs. Overall, it was a cute story. It was fun to see some favorite Bailey and Haven family characters show up and an overlap with the Bailey Brothers series.
Minor: Miscarriage and Kidnapping
