I love Erica. Shes hilarious and I love the fact shes a mechanic.
I love Brody. Felt the most sorry for him in this series as hes the eldest and losing the farm must have sucked so bad as he would have felt it was his responsibility.

Great book by one of my favorite go to authors, Ms. Landish once again delivers on a hero I'm swooning over and a heroine I have a girl crush on! These two have instant chemistry, Brody and Rix just need to learn to navigate in a world with someone else that matters IN THAT WAY to them, which is something they are not used to. I think I love Rix more than any heroine I've read this year. Her crassness and abruptness just the hard shell protecting her vulnerabilities. She has them, she's not infallible and Brody sees that, and together they are amazing and I'm so glad I read this at a time I needed to jump into the small town environment this author created and just SLOW things down. It was the perfect escape!

Rough Edge the second book in Lauren Landish's Tannen Boys Series was a fantastic read. That had the perfect combination of heart, sweetness, combustible chemistry and amazing characters. Not to mention it was one hundred percent original, and I loved the romance that developed between surly, scarred, rough and tumble cowboy Brody and cynical, unfiltered and unapologetically real mechanic Erica (Rix) And quite frankly, I was rooting for Brody to get the girl the moment she swung a wrench at him! And I can't tell you how much I loved the journey this pair went on, secrets, exes, and meddling family included.

Would definitely recommend.

I did not like the female lead. She felt to much like that girl who is only friends with boys to a fault.
