“Love is letting someone have the power to hurt you in ways you haven’t even thought of yet.”

A beautiful romance and a good story with character development. But it was a little to much back and forth at times, one second they were having the best time of their life and the next they were breaking up. But still a book I enjoyed to read.

This was a very cute! My only complaint was that at one point about three-quarters through the book, they spent about ten pages of back and forth where they'd argue, someone would run away, the other person would follow them, ask if they could talk, and then they'd argue, and then someone would run away, and the other person would follow them, etc. It felt like this was happening multiple times over the same argument lol.

But otherwise, a very nice story. I liked that
Spoilerthey acknowledged that it's not realistic for everyone to have a big coming-out moment, and that's not always the best or safest thing for their partner to push for. In Ruby's case, we saw that there were very real consequences for her coming even partially out of the closet, and I appreciate that the author didn't shy away from that and make it all better with a grand acceptance moment.

Spoilers Ahead: This book was so cute for me. I loved the characters, and I loved the way important issues were written, such as how coming out is different for every person. The interaction between between Morgan and Ruby is exactly what I wanted to read about, and the sort-so enemies to lovers vibe is something I seriously really enjoyed. What a lovely read!
