This was my devotional for 2021. However, I felt the passages so small, and I wanted more, a story, perspective, something, anything more. There were also many moments where my faith journey just didn't fit with the words in the book. I get that it was written like a letter from Jesus, but I don't know much. I agree with that premise in the first place.

This book is soothing and calming. I love reading a page or two at the end of a long day. It reminds me to trust in God, rest in His peace, and not try so hard to be everything. Love this book!

My parents gave me this devotional on Christmas of 2015, and I'm so glad they did. Since then, they have given my husband and I Young's full set of devotionals. I look forward to starting and ending 2017 with Jesus Lives: Seeing His Love in Your Life.

If you read this, keep this foremost in your mind “This is another woman’s words. This is not God’s Word; read them as a reinterpretation, *not* as the canonical, inspired Holy Bible.”
Just another devotional with human errors & misinterpretations.
The copy I read didn’t have as much Scripture mentioned as the newer editions.

Ok. I enjoyed many of the devotions in the book, but I did not enjoy her perspective of writing "from" Jesus. Not one I'd really recommend.
