I tried really hard to get into the book, but i just couldn’t do it. I forced myself to keep reading because i hate not finishing books, but i just couldn’t do it anymore. The book starts off very, very slowly. Maybe it’s just me but there was way too much exposition.

YES! The Mummy! YESYESYES!!! I love Ramses II in this book. So good. Another one I might have to read again.

I am a big fan of Anne Rice and this book was so good. I thoroughly enjoyed it as much as her other books. I’m also a big fan of books using Egyptian history.

My first book I ever read from Anne Rice. This will forever be a FAVE of mine from her. I always manage to read this every couple of years. It's due for another re-read soon. =)
