Getting a little repetitive with all the scenarios with Gertie and Ida Belle. Seems like the series is stuck in a rut, along with Carter and Fortune's relationship (or lack thereof).

I realize that a series about an ex-CIA agent that falls in love with a cop isn’t going to be like, light on the copaganda, but this one was pretty intolerable. There was that. The fatphobia. The sex work negativity. Are we really still on our post 9/11 patriotism bender, too? Signs point to yes.

There were not really any surprises as the 'twists' aren’t twists anymore cause they have all been done before several times so as soon as we met them I guessed who the mystery intruder was, who the burglar was and predicted the murder attempt & would be killer for our mystery intruder. But in the end none of that really matters because I love Fortune, Ida-belle & Gertie and the crazy folk of Sinful so no time spent with them is ever wasted.
