Wow this book was literally amazing!! Honestly, nobody out there needs me to tell them that, but I did anyway. It felt like such an honor to read Michelle's story from her beginnings until now. I though the writing was exceptionally strong, which I wasn't surprised about as all. It was wonderful to sit there reading and know that she herself was able to put those words down on paper--I never suspected anyone else was writing for her. Her voice was very strong. I was also so impressed by her story--not that she had come from humble beginnings to Princeton and Harvard to the White House, but rather hearing about all of the people who had inspired her and moments that had motivated her throughout her life and how she became the person she is. I always admired her as First Lady, and it was fascinating to discover her inner thoughts. She's a much different person than I thought she was! This was definitely one of the best books I've read this year, if not THE best.

Erittäin tärkeä kirja siitä, että kenestä tahansa voi tulla mitä tahansa. Ja että meistä jokainen on tärkeä ja tarpeellinen ❤️

Memoirs aren't my favorite, but I'm glad I read this one. I think I had assumptions of who I thought Michelle Obama was, that weren't correct.
