The examples he used include things such as him talking about how he "settled" with his wife and tells her she doesn't look good sometimes, about how much horrible shit he did when he was younger but "how much better" he is now, inserting islamaphobia, victim-blaming people in abusive situations, judging people based on stories he made up in his head (even though that goes against what he is writing about), disrespecting femininity and women in general, and more.
I wouldn't recommend it to someone that wants to be changed by reading a self-help book or re-invent themselves (because that's not something that's feasable anyway in my opinion), or someone that is easily swayed by what people write. I've seen way too many people have problematic takeaways from this book.
I'd personally only read it if you don't intend to take it too seriously, and I just wanna get some different thoughts to swirl around in your brain for a bit (if you got some extra time). And if you're willing to deal with the messed up examples he keeps on giving.
Honestly, this whole thing could have been a blog or a single chapter in another book (without the examples and all the repeating there's not much left).

There were so many great points in this book that I would like to reread it at some point. Some things I would like to check back in to see how I may have progressed with the advice given.
I saw by a content creator on TikTok that stated this is not a safe book for those who suffer from a mental illness. I guess I can see their point. If you are a logical person and are looking to improve your quality of life, I would suggest checking out this book.

The book touches on dark themes, it’s the self help book that doesn’t fuck around, so don’t think too much is gonna be left out.kbrantmeier24's review against another edition
