I still don't like Junie B.'s attitude and manners. Also, her grammar has somehow worsened in this book - what is she even learning in Kindergarten?!

It seems like all the adults (her parents, grandparents, teacher, and principal) are exasperated by her, and I don't blame them.

She did learn an important lesson about not stealing food from grocery stores, so I guess there is some good that came out of this book...

Part of a personal challenge to read all of my boyfriend's and his sister's childhood books before we donate and give them away.

H gave it 10 stars! H's favorite part is Junie B.'s grampa pulled out his teeth and she scared him! :)

A's review: I just think it was funny and it's a lesson that no one should sneak up on someone or spy on them because it's not a good thing. It was OK.

I reread a bunch of Junie B Jones this week. They used to be my favorite from 1st to 3rd grade and I needed something to get me out of a reading slump so I thought why not. This one has to be my favorite out of all the ones I read so far. It had me laughing the whole time. I love how Barbara can express Junie B’s personality through the writing style and  dialogue. Junie is like the messy character you’re always rooting for. I love the whole plot with the grapes and her cookies. Definitely see why I used to love these.

This book was fun! It also opened up an opportunity for us to discuss both spying on people, stealing, and that everyone makes mistakes. Ela has expressed that she wants to read them all. I am pretty sure there are a lot. :) Yay us.

This was a fun one for the kids. Junie B. Is curious about his teacher, Mrs., and is set on spying on her. Luck has it she spots her at the grocery store and she sees something that is too hard to keep a secret.

I like Junie less and less with each book. Bad grammar. Words that I discourage my son from saying. And situations I don't want to encourage my son to get in... Goodbye Junie. This is the last time we will read about you.

Junie B may be a lot of things, but a snitch ain’t one of them.
