Started so slow that I almost didn’t finish it but I had to see it through once it FINALLY picked up (like halfway). Not sure it was worth 300 pages of this man’s internal monologue saying everything but “I love her” then him being like “I don’t love her I can’t love her I don’t believe in love” like boy if you don’t stfu and grow up like come on bruv you love her but your love language is acts of service and hers is words of affirmation so just say it and move on damn!

OMG this was so good, I almost read it in one day (which I never do!!!) I was hooked from the first page and the only thing I’m mad about is that I let it sit on my self for years before picking it up.
It’s a perfect Shakespeare retelling without it being too on the nose. Also LOVED the enemies to lovers trope and generally the way their relationship played out. Loved how Nisha incorporated Indian culture and tradition without making it feel forced. I’d give it more stars if I could (11/10!)
