Finally finished this. This took a while.
I like reading children's stories from different cultures and seeing what they teach as you can learn a lot about a culture from what they teach their children. That being said, if I got too caught up in the academics of it, it would sometimes get really rough to read and I had to step back and just allow myself to enjoy it as is.
It had some good stories and some obvious ones.
I like the March at Midnight the best.
From a Western/American perspective I didn't agree with the themes of predetermined lot in life and suicide as being noble in some cases but it was interesting.
