3.5 stars. Cute. I had a bit of a problem connecting with Rowe, because he was a bit too quirky for my liking, but Bash was delicious and their love story adorable, if a bit devoid of tension. The book oozes with sequel potential and I'm definitely here for the stories about the other members of the Brotherhood (and Kenji).

"I'd never considered what it felt like when Cinderella crashed back to Earth after her one brilliant night of dancing. Of how much more terrible it felt to put your rags back on when you knew for a fact how amazing the life just out of your reach could be."

This was such a freaking delight. It was utterly hilarious and dare I say outright ridiculous at times, but I couldn't wipe the smile off my face the entire time reading it. Even now I'm catching myself smirking at the memory of different parts of the book. I have so many highlights and I just finished reading this book and couldn't help but gush about it a little. I read it in one sitting. I couldn't stop. I had to know what over the top hilarity was going to happen next!

"Years from now, when Bash had forgotten all about the time he fucked the Burrito Bandito, I'd still be savoring this moment."

The romance was whirlwind and began as a heap of lies, but truths streaked through. Almost like they couldn't help themselves. They wanted the other person to know the real them, if only a glimpse. The Brotherhood are absolutely nuts but I adored the hell out of them. They were like a start of a joke. A thrill seeker, a horse trainer, an uptight businessman, a rock star, and a dilettante walk into a bar... And I adored them even more by the end with the way they welcomed Rowe and gave him a sense of that type of familial bond again. I may be off, but I thought I was def getting vibes between a certain PA and the manwhore of the group. Lennox is still being tight lipped about the next MCs so we won't know for sure quite yet. What I do know for sure is that I'll be reading it.

This us a very good read if you want something funny, with no over the top angst. I reeeealllly hope this will be the first in a series cause I desperately want to see some of the side characters get their happy endings!

All the lying gives me anxiety. I can see the twist coming and don't feel like watching it play out. Too many books too little time

Laughed my ass. Totally ridiculous in the best way. Both MCs were total sweethearts. As always, Lucy has made fantastic side characters. I seriously can’t wait for the next book in the series.

This was so good. Funny and silly and kinda romantic. I love these kinda stories with light deception for a great cause.

The way this story was told, and the number of characters we meet and really get to know so much about, makes me think that it could be a great series, but there’s nothing about this being a series so I was a little disappointed. I wanted to know about the brotherhood, and I’m pretty sure kenji and Landry are into each other, great enemies to lovers vibe.

Lucy Lennox weaves another enjoyable and fun romance filled with a great cast of characters, an interesting and engaging plot and lies, lots of lies that had me laughing out loud.

Rowe is adorably awkward and nervously rambles which makes him a terrible liar. He’s also kindhearted and on occasion a bit impetuous and I just adore him!
Upon first meeting Rowe, Bash can’t help himself and plays along with the lies including not being honest about who he actually is. This leads to some fun banter and hilarious over the top lies but the longer these deceptions go on, the more both men want them to stop. It’s not long before Rowe tells Bash the truth and they acknowledge the chemistry between them with some heated scenes mixed with tender moments.

I loved every minute of this book and devoured it in one sitting. With just a dash of angst on the way to their HEA, Rows and Bash had me laughing and smiling so hard at the end. The author also left us with plenty of teasers for the very interesting side characters and I can’t wait to see who gets their story told next.
