Drudgery, but like as a literary device.
Seriously, not having read much of this sort of sub-genre of late twenties women hating their monotonous lives, this was a pretty good read. Boring and repetitive until the end, when things finally moved and got interesting, but I think that was the point. Still, it was certainly not life-changing.

This was fine! I’m all for a listless, kind of gross woman trying to navigate life but this just lacked purpose and meaning for me? Which is saying a lot cause I don’t necessarily need strong plots or “purpose” for books, but I finished it kind of like “okay, why?” It was fairly funny and Millie was pretty relatable, but many other books I’ve read do this better.
