Fun read.

This was a fun read. I'd call this a family drama book, small town setting, light humorVery different than what I normally read, science fiction or historical fiction.

My head is reeling with all the people in this tale, who they are, are not. What they show to the outside world and what they really are etc etc. Far too confusing for words. I hover between 2 and 3 stars. I cant say i really liked it but i am willing to give the series another go now they all seems to have got a hold of who they really are and who they want to be maybe the next one won't be quite so frenetic and it is on my challenge list so i have to try

The small southern town and the characters living there were well-described - I could really feel the protagonist’s disconcerted feelings.

Ended up good, but rough start

These characters were hard to get to know. But once I got into the groove of the story, everything blossomed. Suddenly the characters were identifiable and realistic, not that we want to know some of them!
