Has a gossipy FAQ tone. Goes some way to improving your understanding of TPS3 but by no means all the way. Log lady’s final letter quite beautiful and the end is surprisingly spiritually uplifting. The FBI agent (Tamara) who ‘authors’ this doesn’t match the tone of the character in the series however. Worth a read to fill in some blanks if you are a fan of the show.

SO MUCH MORE INTRIGUING that The Secret History! Although I enjoyed The Secret History some "facts" felt dull or a bit of stretch whereas The Final Dossier deals primarily with characters in Twin Peaks (and loose ends/ questions from the third season).

It's a pretty quick read and basically essential for any Twin Peaks fan!

Look: I have a dumb obsession with Twin Peaks, so I enjoyed this book. It's short as shit, and there are literally no scenes, so it takes maybe an hour and a half to read it. Still, it seems to do nothing but paper over a few continuity errors, and those answers it does provide seem, for lack of a better word, weightless. It has the feel, in no way helped by the narrator's frequent mentions that she is speculating, of an extended fan theory, albeit a fan theory written by (arguably) the more important of the two Twin Peak's creators.
