a cute and quick read of the series. I liked that Tate was introduced the last book and now built upon his story. There were some small annoyances with the family dynamics and just "wtf" moments in general but it didn't take too much away from the overall vibe of the book.

it was so close to not having the classic third-act break up and I was so excited but it’s a typical romance novel so what do you expect. I really enjoyed it though, probably one of my favorite in this series. It had a good little plot twist which is unusual for romance novels and the third act break up was one I could actually put up with. A little silly but also I liked it

Omg! This book was everything I needed it to be. I read it in one day- Valentine’s Day- and although it was cold out while I was stuffing my face with chocolate and the book was all summer vibes, I couldn’t have asked for anything more than I got. I was lucky enough to get approval to read Bad Girl Reputation last year; this sequel blew it out of the water.
Tate and Cassie were amazing characters with brilliant banter and tons of chemistry but what made this book even more amazing was the attention that was paid to the side plots which can often seem thrown in as an afterthought in romance books. This is possibly my favourite Elle Kennedy book ever and is on my top romance list.
Definitely pick this up if you love:

The Summer Girl is a new adult type steamy romance with some sweet scenes, lots of spicy scenes and so much family drama. I enjoyed the book although there are some things that were not my favorite such as the objectification of women, the underage drinking, and the male main character being a smoker (even if occasionally). The family drama was insane, but really engaging and came out of nowhere. I would read more for sure in this series.

We took a WILD left turn and then a HARD right when we hit about 85% of the book.
I wish there was an epilogue - I would’ve loved to have seen all 3 couples five years down the line.
