An enjoyable collection of stories which all feel very similar in feel to Josie Long's stand-up. They're funny but I think its the warmth, humanity and natural optimism that runs through these stories and makes them feel like a coherent group rather than a jumble of assorted stories. I'm looking forward to reading whatever she writes next.

I don’t think short stories are for me? I just found it a bit boring and anytime I managed to get invested in a character or plot, the story ended. Idk

I enjoyed this collection. Most of the stories were slice-of-life, yet had me engaged with the issues these characters were dealing with. There was a good mix of darkly humerous and touching stories, with some poignant societal commentary.
