Eddie Jaku touchingly recounts his tale of surviving the Holocaust. He manages to give a positive spin to the story through his focus on the help he received from others and the relationships that carried him through. Still, the story is filled with brutality and inhumane treatment. It’s a book we can all learn from.

Stories like Eddie’s are so important for future generations to grasp on to. He faced unimaginable tragedies and hard ships, but through that he has been able to find happiness through his family and appreciating the life he got a second chance at.
