This book is one of those books that everyone needs to read!
I loved how honest he was off his past, and spoke of how he became a Christian. This book had many good points in it, he spoke off all the lies that Satan wants Christians and non-believers to believe. I highly recommend this book to every American.

While not as historically informative as I had anticipated, Robertson does a wonderful job outlining lies America has taught the public, then uses biblical truths to counter such lies. His life story is on display here as a testament to God's goodness to sinners and his commitment to his people. Despite never seeing or reading anything from the Robertson family before (and not being a big hunter or anything like that), I still enjoyed reading his life stories and of how his life is rooted in biblical truths, and how he encourages others to do likewise. Overall, this is a wonderful read that will remind Christians to distinguish America's lies from God's truth and encourage readers in their faith to allow their faith to touch every aspect of their lives.

Phil Robertson does what many of us find difficult or maybe even unthinkable. He illustrates his sinful ways of a youthful past and how by the meeting with one special person he becomes of a Christ follower and someone influencing the changed lives of so many! I found this book hard to put down because of the deeply personal story the author gives to us willingly, and how he is using his transformation to do his part in helping others...and influencing society in general. A fan of Duck Dynasty I enjoyed reading about how this family traveled from meager to greatness, retaining their humble faith based ways of living. The book is entertaining and very easy to read. It touches on so many of the negative and incorrect ways of thinking that we see in society today. It gave me a feeling of hope!

Simple and truthfully spoken on why America is corrupt and lost! I enjoyed the straightforward, no sugar coated, frankness how we came to where we are today. Also, simple solutions to get back! Great book to share.
