I liked it, but I kept putting it down and then picking it up days later. It didn't grab a hold of me.
Spoiler
The armored suits were awesome. Unfortunately, I didn't understand the characters that provided the armor.dlsmall's review

The story is perfectly fine. It is just so awesome to look at any art by Alex Ross.

A good if unequal and overstretched story supported by fantastic art by Alex Ross (no surprise). It’s very on the nose at times but with a few decent twists. Plus it puts the Doom Patrol in the limelight for a little while sit that’s a plus in my book.
So it’s good but not stellar. 3.5 stars rounded up to four because of the artwork.

No le pongo cinco estrellas porque hay tramos en los que se vuelve un poco confusa en la historia, pero es una pasada de obra.

the quick: detailed. thorough. beautiful. complex and collaborative. epic. linear.
the long: wasn't anything mind blowing but it was unique in its grandiose approach. man, Krueger spared no expense in comprehending the strengths and weaknesses of every character he had in there. That was incredible, no doubt. as with most superhero stories though, it's a classic arch and not much growth for characters. or if there was it was overshadowed by anxiety over world domination that subtlety makes sense...if you're into the superhero thing. pencils and paint though, that alone will keep you reading if so artistically inclined.
