I enjoyed this installment of the series and found myself rushing out to get the third in the series because I liked it so much.

There were points where I was literally clenching my fists trying not the throw the book across the room because I was so angry at the characters.

I like an author that causes such a reaction.

The book is definitely a romance but it has some mystery and crime thrown in for good measure. If you're a fan of Sylvia Day and E L James, you'll enjoy this series.

Book 1 ended with me saying "no, no, no!" and then I started book two and soon was wailing 'YES YES YES!"

I cannot get enough of James and Bianca! I love their story. I am intrigued as I watch them fight their way towards one another. And I'm thankful that there are horses and 4th floors! Whew!

Both books in the series have been amazing and I'm not sure how I will wait until late February for book 3. I am for sure going to have to read these again soon.

Lilley should be getting more praise and attention for these books. They are VERY intense and the plot is solid, the supporting characters are great and this couple...umm umm umm.

Because it's never hot for a man to get a tattoo of his woman's face on his back.

Because having sex atop a horse is just unbelievable.

I love this series. I am honestly not into the bdsm stuff but find myself fascinated with these types of books anyway bc of the relationships between the characters. The relationships are always intense and romantic. James reminds me a lot of Christian Grey and Gideon Cross. I love the relationship between Bianca and her best friend Stephan as well.
The horrendous back stories of Bianca and James are sad, but make for a great read. We always need drama in these stories. In these types of books it seems the dominants have such a hard time saying the words I love you, but have no reservations showing it. I do like it bc in life it's usually the other way around..we hear the words but sometimes there's nothing to back it up! I think that's one of the reasons we women are fascinated with these stories.
If you are looking for a read like Fifty or Bared to You then you will enjoy In Flight and Mile High!!

Probably my favorite book of the series, you see Bianca actually start to trust James and get to see the relationship actually become a relationship. Plus the horse farm!

I was enthralled with the first book. This one? Not as much. It was still a great story, but I got sick of James' reaction every time another man so much as breathed near Bianca. I'm still waiting for the romance to kick back up because this one was all sex, no romance. I'm still looking forward to Grounded.
