This is a fantastic book! I love that while the main character is fictional, the rest is completely based in fact and there is so much information included. It can be read multiple times, allowing the reader to dive further and further into the material.

This is a fantastic picture book that introduces not only the history of Egypt but the role of historical archeologists. This will be a great introduction my students and I think many of them will enjoy the unique organization of the text with journal entries, postcards, images, etc telling the story.
