At first I had a hard time getting into it but once I did, I did not want to put this book down. There were so many twist and turns that kept this book sooo interesting. I cannot wait for the third book to come out. I need answers like now!!! This series is a must read. Jaxon pace is something else. I love his character. Natalie is such a feisty thing that deserves so much praise. Nicole Fanning is a genius.

This book was fantastic I could not put the book down I laughed I cried I got upset said some choices words. I hope that let you know the story was written well. The continuation of Jaxon and Natalie’s story is full of laughter love tears and all the action you needed in a mafia romance. You have your hardcore dangerous mafia Don who will burn down the world for his women and his lady is no Simpering mouse in a corner she is a fierce Lionesses. Then you add some spice and I mean

Holy Forking Shirtballs I was on the edge of my seat for most of this book. It was a long read, but altogether a fast one because I had such a hard time putting it down. The Scenes were dramatic, compelling, and heart stopping. Jaxon is everything. He's compelling in a new and fresh way that doesn't revolve around a big bad crime lord, but a man with a good heart trying to do right by the legacy he was left and the city he loves- and his family. Nicole really found herself as a character in this book and we got to watch her hesitantly flex her power in a few push comes to shove moments. I look forward to future installments where we see that queen side of her blossom. I love that the secondary characters compel me as much as the two mains. I love Charlie to the moon and back, and the rest of the Alpha squad as well. Nicole has not just written two books at this point. She's written a world to continue building her dynasty upon.

Wow. I felt so many emotions while reading this book. This was such a brilliant And fast paced ride that i was not prepared for. The series is unfinished, but i know it’ll be worth the wait. Highly recommend this series.
