Absoliuti klasika ir noras paploti autoriaus vaizduotei bei atsidavimui. Sunku aprėpti viską, ką Tolkienas sukūrė - "Žiedų valdovas" neapsiriboja puikiai parašytomis knygomis; rašytojas pasakojimą išplėtė lingvistika, vietine istorija, geneologija, žemėlapiais, mitologija, dainomis, legendomis... World building at its finest.

Paskutinė knyga vainikuoja trilogiją satisfying pabaiga, papildomais Viduržemio istorijos bei "where are they now" pasakojimais. Gėris nugali blogį, triumfuoja taika ir draugystė. Istorija apsuka ratą ir užsibaigia ten, kur ir prasidėjo - mylimuose namuose.

L'unica parte veramemte interessante sono i capitoli finali con il ritorno nello Shire, in questo libro si caratterizzano un po' meglio i personaggi hobbit.
La parte del libro in Mordoch è molto ripetitiva e noiosa.
In generale non è il libro migliore della serie ma ha i suoi momenti.
