La amistad de Jillian y Stacey es todo lo que está bien en el mundo. El cameo de Harvester acá fue lo mejor de la vida, y el de Reseph y Eidolon, amo mucho lo que escribe Larissa Ione, la amo ♥

I missed reading about the members of the Demonica. Always loved this series. Great story about Tracker and Stacey. Looking forward to the next story!

3 stars - I liked it

Tracker has spent his whole life as a slave. When his ownership is transferred to Jillian everything changes for him though. She gives him as much freedom as his contract allows and tries to make him happy, but he doesn’t experience true happiness until Stacy Orr gets stranded in his cabin.

Tracker has been a minor background character in a couple books, first with Harvester and then with Jillian and Reseph. Tracker wants his freedom but also knows he can never have it. He has wanted Stacy for a very long time but it isn’t until she is stranded by a blizzard that he actually admits it or acts on it. I loved seeing Stacy break through Tracker’s barriers and get him to live a little.

Stacy is Jillian’s best friend and has had the hots for tracker from the beginning. When she realizes how little of life he experiences she goes out of her way to push new experiences on him, like cooking and movies. She never pushes Tracker to discuss his past, even when she asks questions about it she lets him reveal as little as he is willing, which is perfect for his situation. I also liked that Stacy wasn’t a pushover. When she was in danger, she tried to fight back. She is a DART member and a previous law enforcement officer so she knows how to take care of herself.

Overall, I am glad we finally got to see Tracker find happiness. This was a fast paced romance with a lot of action towards the end, which I enjoyed.

Trigger warnings: slavery, torture, PTSD, kidnapping,

I really enjoy this story, so much I want now to read the whole series, Tracker and Stacey are great characters, I loved the world-building and the different things the characters go through, the emotions and the plot were quite interesting. The way the author wrote it had great pacing and made it very enjoyable.
