Wow, I’m getting whiplash over here trying to figure out where our allegiances lie. I’m loving all of the Night Court character development, found family is one of my favorite of all the tropes.

The feels being evoked are a little too real in this series. It's not just faeries trucking. Question who's the hero and who, the villain.

THE ENDING WAS CRAZY!!! I literally laughed at the last line. This book had me crying in the fourth quarter then I was shocked/laughing at the last 50 pages. I love Rhysand 🥹 To be honest, I thought the first half of the book was really slow and kinda confusing, but then it picked up. Also the tagline of this book is “Indeed” because it’s written on nearly every single page. I’m excited for the next book!!

The last time I read so much about males and females and males fighting other males for females I was looking at screenshots from an incel forum.

Ok. There were good parts. In particular, the heist with Amren and Feyre. Amren in general.

Hey. Why did you make me read so many hours of Feyre agonizing over Tamlin. Over leaving him. Over moving on from him. Over being attracted to another person after 2 months. And just when I think there's gonna be some kind of emotional resolution, or she's going to like really deal with her shit, it's revealed that
Feyre and Rhysand are fated mates, and the thing with Tamlin was doomed from the start. NO NEED TO THINK ABOUT THAT ANYMORE! AAAAAUUUGGGHHHHHHHH

This book balances character development with world building in a way that makes every chapter purposeful and compelling. This  was the book to get me to fall in love with the world of Prythian and what it has to offer Feyre as a result of the previous book.

I liked book 2 MUCH more than book 1, there are aspects of this book I wish were less rigid. Also I basically cringe everytime they say “female”
