Whenever Animorphs expands beyond the usual fight, things get a little convenient. Nonetheless it was nice to see how grand the stakes were and how much KA had planned.

We're introduced to a new character who helps the Animorphs, and we learn a little bit about Rachel's home life, and what drives her. Cassie is shown to have a very strange stance on what is essentially and I'm not sure if it'll be explored again, but it sure was something!!

Man these kids really get messed up in this series. A lot of wild shit comes in, in this book. It's fun, it's intriguing, and it's full of grievous bodily harm.
