was hard for me to get into at first and was skeptical of all the hype but soon became a book i couldn’t put down. i was deeply invested in the characters and their stories (some of them more than others) but at the same time didn’t really like them — and wasn’t sure if i was going to be happy to follow along. by the end of it, though, i’m glad i did. it’s about love and loss and new beginnings. the writing is just beautiful and tender and i loved how fun it was to cast this book with actors for my own internal adaptation.
