Solid book. The characters were very lovable and I enjoyed all the different povs and these people just coming together and trying to be there for one another. The sad parts were really touching and the misunderstandings too.
The Eleanor PV was completely useless and totally unnecessary I think you could have told hecc tv and frank getting together in a different way without completely changing the format of the book for seemingly no reason. Just unnecessary.

i think Coco Mellors is genuinely becoming one of my favorite authors. she writes stories about people who feel so real and broken and raw. the books aren't plot driven, they're all people driven. and the people all mess up a lot, but she somehow pulls out the beauty in all of it. I will be thinking about this book for a long time

i technically would dock points for the couple chapters written from the random friends' povs (Quinten and Santiago) because i don't feel they added anything to the storyline, but the rest of the book was strong enough to me that i am choosing to ignore those 2 chapters

I have never connected with each character of a book so fast. I need Greta Gerwig to make this into a film. I’m 24 and I love Cleo.

Absolutely adored this book - I loved how each character had a different focus character within a group and gave real variety. I loved the characters and the universal feeling of loving someone who isn't the right one really fit home. Want to read again !

This book is for New Yorkers cause I swear I know all of these characters IRL.

I truly did not like the book in the beginning. However, seeing the characters grow and change within two years, made me enjoy them so much more in the manner they changed. I am very happy with the way it ended.
