Overall pleasant, but the characters' tone felt quite forced and unnatural, as though it were a tween TV show despite some mature themes
(sex and consent, parental abuse, etc.)

I won't buy the next tome, but I might read it online for free if I can make the time

Delightful take on the Hades and Persephone story!  I like the two main characters just fine, though I find Persephone just a wee bit too disingenuous and dull to really fall in love with her.

I adore Hecate though and find Minthe's disaster person arc really interesting.  The Apollo plotline is finally given some weight and I'm glad that Persephone isn't left to deal with it alone or that Hades has to fix the situation for her.
