I would have liked another full length story between these two, but I enjoyed what we got

What I Liked: This is an enjoyable little book. There’s nothing really complicated about it, I read it in one sitting and found it quite cute and sexy. The romance is simple with a little bit of angst, and there’s some steamy, well-written sex scenes as you might expect from one of Katee Robert’s books.
What I Didn’t: I would have liked it to be a bit longer - some of the angst felt a bit heavy for a novella of this kind as it didn’t have the space on-page to really delve into Danielle’s issues.
SpoilerWhilst I understood her perspective and I absolutely agreed she should be angry with Grayson, it felt like there was something missing from that angle, and the way that issue was talked through and resolved didn’t feel as believable as they didn’t really have the time to talk through it.

Overall: It’s fun and cute and sexy, and was enjoyable to read.
Would I Recommend It?: Yes, if you want a quick, sexy read with a mistaken identity plotline and some mild BDSM.
Would I Read Something By The Author Again?: Yes.
Content Warnings:
SpoilerMild BDSM, controlling parent.

2.5 stars 🌟 severely underdeveloped plus the reason he kept his secret made no sense at all.

Meh. I liked it, but I didn't love it. Katee Robert is my absolute fav ever, but this book didn't keep my attention like the others. The spice was spicing, but I couldn't connect with it. Is it me, am I the problem for thinking he was too nice?

A bit cheesy and some typical romance tropes. For example, daddy issues, mistaken identity, insta-love feel, he’s not like other guys, when other men do XYZ it’s annoying/turn off/results in rejection from the main female character (Danielle) but when the main male character (Grayson) does it it’s sexy/ attractive, etc. Overall, I don't think this was a bad story, it has some steamy parts, and it's a novella so it's not going to deep dive into anything. However, I just didn't really like Danielle's character that much. I also don't fully understand how she didn't put two and two together about Grayson but I realize that wouldn't make the story work how it did.
