I read this in another lifetime...when i was in my mid twenties and felt confused/angry/lonely. It made a huge impression, I recall.

An intense and intriguing short novel, it gave me much to think about. I quite liked Duras's style. Will have to check out one of her longer works.

This book was compared to Pornocracy which is a book I was insanely disappointed by so I was initially wary but it was actually quite lovely

This book makes me cry every time. Short and hauntingly beautiful. I always see this as a white, grey and blue story, hollow and cold. Love it.
