This was a really great introduction to this story arc, I can't wait to see what's going to happen next!

An this is what I get for following an author. A lame Avatar story. Not bad. Just very surfacy and juvenile.

Although the art style initially threw me, simply because it wasn't like the first five comics, which were like the show, I was delighted by how well it balanced this story out (yuk yuk yuk). I very much enjoy the dives into benders vs. non-benders, as I've always dug the discussions of superheroes vs. non-superheroes and how everyone's supposed to find their way in a world that is seemingly so unfair for much of the population. It's a fun, cool, and exceptional power that's fine and well until it plays out in a tangible sense of value. Alas!

Ok, first of all, I think it should be made clear that Avatar: The Last Airbender is the greatest western animated show to ever exist, and everyone should watch it at least once in their lives.

This was a cool comic, with fun art and a cool storyline, and it really feels like the show.

CW: Racism, pollution.
