While there are moments where Nightcrawler is truly wrestling with mortality (particularly Issue #7 which follows him after the Death of Wolverine), that more interesting narrative is superseded by an annoying space pirates adventure featuring two of the X-Men students. A small step down from the first arc in this solo series and a disappointment given the context this series arrives.

Lighthearted read despite the deaths.
The story is non-linear so I don't know when exactly Logan died. He dieeeeeeeeeed!! Ah, here's me hoping he was immortal but that's what you'd get when you less you super amazing healing ability.
Action packed enough for a superhero comic and a happy ending. What's not to love? I like the fact that Nightcrawler didn't get any girl. One is gone to kingdom come and the other is on a quest. Single life suits him.
